The basic information about learning styles and practical applications for each style was extremely helpful. I'm sure I'll come back to it again and again as I seek to help my children use their strengths and strengthen their weaknesses.

I couldn't give the book a higher rating, however, because I disagreed with some of the larger, more foundational principles set forth and because the author seemed to get carried away in personal opinions. Apr 13, Amanda rated it it was amazing. Great book! I was encouraged on how to help my kids in school by learning their learning styles!
I mostly scanned through this book. It was helpful in learning more about different learning styles and how to work with your child's learning style. It furthers my opinion of the "one size fits all" education really doesn't fit all. It's challenging to work with many different learning styles and be able to address each child's needs, but how much more effective is the teaching if they can. We tend to think if a kid can't still and listen, they must have ADD. But what if they are a kinesthetic I mostly scanned through this book.
But what if they are a kinesthetic learner that learns better by moving?
